At the urging of many (okay, like 2) friends I am starting a blog. In case you don't see my precious babes enough on facebook, he we are on blogspot. You already know me if you're on here so there are no need for introductions. I'm a laid back funny quirky girl who loves God, family, friends, pizza dipped in ranch and the smell of skunks ( I was raised on a ranch, don't judge..it smells "homey" to me)
We are currently living in limbo on a wing and a prayer. But really, I mean, REALLY this is exactly how God wants us living anyway, right? My wonderful hubby (no really, he's pretty amazing) was laid off from his job as a Project Manager 2 months ago and so we're in the midst of some changes. We're praying for good ones! He is applying to jobs all over the world at this point..it's a tough economy and we know it first hand. We're at the point where we will go wherever he lands that job. Of course I have my wish list and honestly, staying in OR is darn near the top. As much as the weather SUCKS. This is now my home and I am feeling so rooted here. I love love the friends that have been brought into my life. This is a group of girls that you don't come along very often. We clicked from day one and I think I'll stay besties with them until the day I die. That is my hope. That being said, I have quite a lengthy list of reasons I'd like to leave. 1. Weather 2. Weather 3. Cost of living (the fact that we could have a literal palace for what we paid for our house here!) 4. All the liberals (oopsy, did I say that?) It's true, all you hippy, granola lovers, Hummer haters can bite it. Take me to God's country. I'm pretty sure that when there is another attack Portland will be high upon the list, you immoral smartcar drivers. Woah..did I just say that? Here's a little something about me...I have a lot to say. Sometimes I'm not quite eloquent to do it though and my passion builds up inside and it comes out like explosive vomit. Bleh..Bleh. I'm a very conservative person in my beliefs and I find it very hard to mingle with those who aren't. This is a post for another day though. Or perhaps a novel.
